PCG Oceania joins the New Zealand Cold Storage Association as a new Associate Member and Barista Sponsor

Three-day conference brings together New Zealand’s cold storage and refrigerated logistics industry in Christchurch

Christchurch, 4 August 2026 – PCG Oceania has joined the New Zealand Cold Storage Association (NZCSA) community as a new Associate Member, taking part in the 2026 NZ Cold Storage Conference at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre from 2–4 August.

As Barista Sponsor for the three-day conference, PCG Oceania connected with cold-storage operators, service providers and industry leaders from across New Zealand, discussing the challenges and opportunities facing an energy-intensive sector.

With electricity representing a significant operating cost for cold storage and refrigerated facilities, solar and energy efficiency were recurring topics throughout the conference. The discussions highlighted growing industry interest in practical solutions that can improve long-term energy cost certainty while supporting sustainability goals.

The conference also provided a valuable platform for building new industry connections. NZCSA shared during the event that 55% of this year’s delegates were attending the conference for the first time, with PCG Oceania among the new participants joining the community.

The Roundtable Sessions were a particular highlight, creating an interactive environment for delegates to meet, exchange ideas and better understand the priorities and experiences of businesses across the cold-chain sector.
