At Daikin’s Christchurch facility, PCG Oceania joined industry speakers to explore how businesses can adopt cleaner energy without significant upfront capital investment.
Christchurch, 11 June 2026 – PCG Oceania was invited to speak at Electrify your business Canterbury, a Sustainable Business Network (SBN) event hosted at Daikin New Zealand’s Christchurch facility.
Part of SBN’s Electrify Business roadshow, the event brought together Canterbury business leaders, energy specialists and solution providers to explore practical approaches to electrification. A central theme was how businesses can make the transition while preserving capital for their core operations.
Contributing to the Energy as a Service session, PCG Oceania shared how its fully funded solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) model enables businesses to access on-site renewable electricity without upfront capital expenditure.
The programme explored electric vehicle and mobility options, efficient heating and cooling, and financing pathways. Presentations and a panel discussion gave attendees the opportunity to consider how different solutions could support their own operations.
A tour of Daikin’s Christchurch facility complemented the discussions, offering a closer look at the site’s sustainable building design and energy-efficient technologies.
For PCG Oceania, the event provided a valuable opportunity to contribute to the regional conversation on electrification and connect with businesses exploring their next steps towards cleaner energy.
PCG Oceania thanks Christopher Burman and the SBN team for organising the event, and the Daikin New Zealand team for hosting and sharing insights into the Christchurch facility.
We look forward to continuing these conversations and helping New Zealand businesses turn their renewable energy ambitions into practical, long-term solutions.
